Anger at rent increase

The Tenant association Woonbond and FNV are angry about the government’s plans to increase the rent of social housing for households with incomes above € 43,000 by 5 percent extra on inflation.

In a letter to parliament, the FNV and Woonbond writes that the increase is unacceptable and it leads to loss of purchasing power and they ask the court to force the government to reject the plan of the cabinet.
