NS considers special website for delays

The Dutch railway company is possibly going to launch a second website with travel information in case that the current site could fail.

Another option, according to a spokesman of the railways, is to enhance the capacity of the current website. Now the website can receive 24,000 site visits per minute, previously there were 7000. Travelers check information more frequently on their smart phones.

The winter weather still causes problems on the track. Until at least the end of the week, there are fewer trains. The trains are generally filled with more passengers. NS also recommends that passengers should take the train out of rush hour if it is not necessarily required.
