12 years old girl rescued two boys from ice hole
One of the boys said that his friend started to run on the ice. “I said stop, you will fall through the ice soon. At that moment, he fell through it.” In an attempt to save his friend, the boy fell into the water too. “It was freezing cold. At one moment, I could not move any more, and then Jade came.”
Jade Hamberg, the 12-year-old girl, had just finished sledding with a friend, when she saw two boys struggling in the water. “I thought I must save them. I cannot just walk away.” She took a willow branch and pulled the boys from the water one by one.
Jade had a blanket with her because of the sledding. The young heroine pulled the coats off the boys, wrapped the blanket around them and brought them home. The parents of the boys are grateful. “Jade was really a guardian angel,” says the mother of one of the boys. The boys recovered soon.
