A horse died during the arrival of Sinterklaas in Groningen. It was not the horse of Sinterklaas and did not cause too much attention of the children.
The horse, which was pulling a cart together with another horse, was startled by someone in the audience who threw a burning cigarette. The horse fell and it was oppressed by the other horse which was also tripped.
It was unclear who deliberately threw a cigarette out.
