Parking in Amsterdam along the edge of the city will be cheaper soon. A ticket for a parking place close to the A10 will soon cost only 1 euro for a whole day. This rate applies to visitors who arrive after 10:00, according to Vice Mayor Eric Wiebe (VVD, Traffic) on Wednesday. The current rate is 8 euro per 24 hours.
This is the so-called P+R parking areas, from where people can take public transport or bicycle to a destination in the city.
