The patients must pay extra at the dentist from January, even though they have good insurance, according to the prediction by health insurance company CZ.

Next year, an experiment will begin in which the dentist may set their own rates. The government hopes that it could improve the quality of dental care in this way. The dentists must negotiate with health insurers about the cost of treatment in the new system. If the dentist holds a higher rate than what the insurer will pay, then the patient would be the victim who has to pay for the cost, says CZ.
