Holland Casino should refuse gambling addicts

Holland Casino has a duty of care for pathological gamblers. Gamblers should be refused at entrance if they have requested there.

According to a ruling of the court in Utrecht, A 46-year-old Turkish Dutch has written in 2002 that he should not be allowed to enter Holland Casino ‘for indefinitely time plus 500 years’. However, he was simply admitted a few years later and lost much money.

The court finds that the casino has violated his duty of care towards the man and must negotiate compensation to the compulsive gambler. Holland Casino is appealing.
