Immigrants in Australia should be taught about the use of deodorant and patiently waiting in line, according to Teresa Gambaro MP. The conservative opposition wants to have extensive social and cultural class for the integration of immigrants.
The idea led to much controversy. “Bizarre and silly”, said Chris Bowen Minister of Immigration. A government council for multicultural affairs said most newcomers with work visa are well-educated professionals now. The council argues that there should be separate lessons for politician.
