Deputy Mayor Henk Kool (Economy) on 19 November laid the foundation stone for the Asian Business Court on the A13 motorway in The Hague/Ypenburg.

This new trade centre is for both Dutch and Chinese businesses. The Asian Business Court consists of business accommodations and office units, a business hotel with a restaurant and a Chinese cultural centre.

The office complex has 10 business accommodations divided over two wings around a central area. The accommodations feature a showroom spread over two floors with office space on top. The business hotel provides various meeting and conference facilities and has 112 rooms.

The Chinese cultural centre is meant for Chinese events, exhibitions, networking meetings, weddings and other cultural activities.

The new complex measures 14,000 square metres. A number of business accommodations have already been rented. The Asian Business Court is an initiative of ABC Holland BV.

The entire complex will be ready around 2014.
