Top executives receive high bonuses

Top executives in the Netherlands received higher bonuses last year. The executives earned a total of 41.6 million euros to cash shares and options.

According to the Volkskrant, there is an increase of 34 percent.

Eric Meurice, CEO of chip equipment manufacturer ASML, had the best year. He received a total of 6.7 million last year and is one of the highest paid directors in the Netherlands.

Possibly only Peter Voser of Shell came above that. His shares bonuses are unknown but his annual bonus is certainly 3.5 million.
