Dutch bosses receive a score higher than 6

Dutch employees are pretty happy with their employers. The bosses get an average score of 6.6 from their employees.

The staff is particularly pleased with the freedom such as the self-organizing working hours and the ability to work from home.

Malfunctioning executives led to great frustration among the staff. “A quarter of the women have resigned because of a disturbed relationship with her supervisor,” says the researcher.

More than one fifth of men said that they have resigned because of the boss. The main reason is that they feel inhibited in their development by the manager.

The survey was conducted online among 1,168 respondents, of whom half are women and half are men.
