Most self-employed people are positive about their self-employment status. Only 1 out of 8 would opt for permanent employment if that were possible, according to a survey by Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment involving 2200 self-employed.
The study also shows that only 1 in 5 self-employed are insured against sickness, more than half put aside money for retirement, 38 percent are insured against long-term disability.
